Born, 1941, Dorset, England. Gained MA from Royal College of Art , London, England in 1968.

Senior Lecturer in Painting, School of Fine Arts, University of Canterbury 1985 to 1995.
Exhibited widely since in North America, Europe, Asia and New Zealand.
Currently lives in Christchurch.
